Were excited to get this year started in a good way and just like last year we participated in the Enero Zapatista celebration were doing it again.  This year is different, in that this is the year that the journey takes place, 2012.

We will be showing some new films this year so come and join us.

Great interview with North American Coordinator Jose Malvido for the Peace and Dignity Journeys.  In this interview Jose speaks on the Journey and also on other issues like the Mayan calendar and the winter solstice for 2012.  Also on indigenous people and the environmental movement.

The Water is Sacred – Animation by Bolivian Artist

Click this link The Water is Sacred to watch this amazing animation produced by a collaboration of many folks from Europe and Bolivia.  The artist are 8 Bolivian animators and the rest of the folks, helped with producing editing, music and other task.  It is an amazing piece and goes perfect with the theme for the 2012 Peace and Dignity Journey theme of water.
